Competition Maddog 12 bills on fuel

Competition raced a duramax...

My 3rd gen got into a race with some nondescript Japanese sedan yesterday. I was doing fine until I felt that sinking feeling you get when the go pedal stops working at about 110mph. I have plans to go ahead and switch out to the V-rated Toyo Proxes and I've upgraded my valve train to handle the higher RPM's and the speedometer on my Edge can tell me how fast I'm going when I get over 120mph, but it is all pointless if I can't get around the dang 110mph limit. Any suggestions?

most of the down loaders will eliminate the speed limiter in the ECU. Tho the Smarty doesn't stack worth of poop with the edge. Not sure about bully dog of ppe, and others stacking ability with edge.

Once above 120, you shouldn't be concerned with mph. keep your eyes on the road. Catch a glimps of RPM if anything and do some quick math to figure your top speed.

Tho, I wonder, if the edge will read above 120 since the truck really doesn't, there is not "stopper" preventing the needle from going past 120, it just doesn't go past 120.

ditto that

Backing up what he said about the smarty, loaded in the new update the other day on my pretty much stock truck and went to 118 mph before letting out, runs better than ever. :)
