More than likely it is the sensor on top of the pumpkin of the rear differential. Reading with ohmmeter across the sensor unplugged should be around 1800 ohms.

If its the same as a 2002, its on the drivers side end of overdrive housing, $13. 00 at Autozone. Makes truck run very badly, no codes are thrown. I am on my third. The on on differntial and the one on trans both talk to ECM, one on trans affects running more.

Thanks guys. Found it, replaced it, problem solved. It was the abs rear wheel speed sensor on the differential. Both my abs and brake lights on dash would not go out and my speed-o-meter wouldn't kick in til I reached 30 mph.
