my rear axle seal has been leaking after installation of a new one. Has anyone used a speedi sleeve to repair this? I’ve pulled it apart for the third time and can see the groove in the shaft. I’ve been researching it but can’t seem to find a part #. It’s for a 2003 2500 4x4. Thanks

Hub seal. Ordered a speedi sleeve on amazon but I’m not 100% it’s correct one, all I’m seeing is for Dana’s. Guess I’ll find out and use Napa as a last resort, rears on jackstands now

That’s what I’m dealing with, more pitted than anything. Part came in today and is too small. Napa folks looked at me like I was from Mars when asking about said sleeve. Any help would be appreciated

The seals for the American axel use a seal with its own inner sleeve. Just cost the axle tube with thin coat of sealant before slipping the hub and seal bank on.

Thanks, I ordered the Mopar seal, was told it is superior to the Timken I currently have issues with. Is black RTV a suitable sealant for this application?
