Speedo after gear swap

What is necessary to recalibrate the speedometer and the computer after a gear swap? I am saving the $$ to do a 3. 42 swap in the rear and would like to know what additional work will need to be done for my truck to function properly.

Nope. Your truck picks up the speedo signal from the ABS system.
