Speedo conversion for Australia

Does anyone know how to convert the Dodge 06 speedo from miles per hour to Kilometers per hour?

Doesn't the speedodometer already have a KM scale in addition to MPH?

change the instrument cluster to a canadian one??? we are metric up here. . ???

When i did my new blue face over lay,it came from the good old USA and has miles per hour in big #'s and kilometers in real small #'s,so i drive by a rule my dad taugh me ---take whatever "kilometers posted" per hour and multiply by 6 and then drop the"0"at the end. Example----100KPHx6=600,drop the "0"=60MPH---this ballpark figures(actual is 62. 5MPH) i drive by,not exactly but close enough for me. Dad had a old 72Dodge 1/2 ton that was only in MPH and that what he used to figure out how fast to drive with the imperial system on the ticker. -----later DW.

Most newer D/c vehicles will have a choice in the scanner to go to metric. I think I remember seeing it on the dr. s

That's going to be one of the only Ram's in AUS... . there are very few Chrysler dealers over there and no dodge dealers... . parts are going to be expensive and take a long time to get there... . may want to pack some common spares such as fuel filters, air filters,... .

Thanks guys for the replies , all the speedos come with the KMH marked in small letters ,our government requires the large scale to be in KMH, so i guess we will have to go with those Canadian ones. It will be one of very few in Australia , and yes we ship in our own spares .

What's the difference between a Canadian KM and an Australian KM?

Not trying to hijack the thread but I thought all vehicles in Australia had to be right hand drive, or was I mis-informed.
