I know this question has been beaten to death but here it goes again. I brought the truck in for service today and got to talking to the techs about the truck. I had asked them about calibrating the speedo for the bigger tires I plan to buy. The 2 techs i talked to both said they were only able to calibrate the speedo for the different size tires/gear ratios that were offered from the factory. When I told them about the whole revolution per Miles thing I see on here they said that they didn't think it could be done like that. These techs seemed real cool and upfront with me so i don't think there were BS in me, just wondering if they didn't know. The one tech even gave me a business card for a company out West that sells a module or something that is spliced in to recalibrate the speedo.

Is there someone who has either performed this flash or seen it done outline it for me so I can speak more intelligently with them next time I bring the truck in? Thanks in advance. Mike

yup, it's been beat to death ... ... ... . use the search function and grab a cool drink ... ... ... plenty of reading!

It can very easily be done by the techs. There is no need to buy a module to correct it. use the search function as suggested and be prepared with a revs per mile number when you want to get it done. I also brought my gps along so I could go out and verify it on the road. Mine came out perfectly the first time though :)
