Last time they tryed it on my sons 99 it would only go as high as 265s. He had 315s on then and has since replace them with LT 295/75 16. They were limited in how big a tire they could go. But things could of changed by now.
There are a couple of companies that make little black boxes to fix this problem. However I don't know if they just fix the speedo or if they fix the speedo and send the new #'s to the Anti-lock breaks...
I have the Superlift Tru-speed. It works well and has 2 different settings. I believe it corrects the signal between the ABS and the ECM. I do have 4 wheel ABS and it works well.
According to the stealer: If you are going to a size tire that is sold by Dodge, they can reset it for you. That will cost you about 1hr labor at a dealer. Anything else, you will have to get an aftermarket widget to correct it for you. That will cost you around $200. :{
