Speedo works, odometer doesn't

While on vacation this past week, I noticed the odometer quit working. #@$%!

Speedo seems to be working just fine. Oo.



Drove for about 7. 5 hrs pulling the trailer and used 20 gal. and the trip odometer still reads 000. 0



Any ideas as how to fix this problem, because my mileage really went into the toilet. :{

Ther has been a lot of discussion on this topic. Basically a couple of plastic gears for the odometer get brittle and shear teeth. There are a couple of speedometer shops that sell replacement parts online. Try a search in the archives to find these sources. I will see if I can find where I ordered mine from.

Thanks, did a search and found two places. One is called Southern Electronics

in Va. Going to give them a call on Monday.
