We are putting a 6" lift and 35s on our '89 4x4 (W250 Cummins, 3-speed auto). How do we correct the speedo after the lift and tires?

Also, the truck is a standard cab and we'd like to get some bucket seats (preferably power seats because I'm short and hubby's tall, need the up-down part of the power seats). What aftermarket or other Dodge or other manufacturer seats should we look for? I ask because its a standard cab, we also need to know what will fit and slide back and forth and have an adjustable back that will work. We're not used to standard cab trucks. :D

Thanks,

Muddy (the wifey)

Speedometer Service in Colorado springs can make an adaptor for ANY ratio you need. Just call them up and they can help you. They helped me, anyway.

AS for seats, I put manual seats from a 94 in my 91 Reg cab. It took some fabricating, and ingenuity, but I got-er-dun. I used a piece of 3/4" swuare tube steel on the back row of bolts, and put the front brackets on the floor. Power seats would have been nice, as I could have raised it up for the same reason you state- I'm 6'2; she's 5'4. You have to watch the years- I hear they changed floor pans in 98.
