Hi All,

Just had Toyo 35" M/Ts installed on my 4. 5 3500 4x4 and am wondering about recalibrating the speedo.

Is this an ECM only recal or the old-school-change-the-gear-in-the-trans recal? (It's an auto trans if it makes a diff. )

So far I like the tires; I noticed a little loss in mileage and off the line torque, but I have 4. 10 gears so I don't think it's that big of a deal. I have no plans to reprogram my ECM as I'm happy with the stock performance so I'm hoping I don't need a programmer to redo the speedo.

A Lorenz suspension kit is in the works soon and I only get a very slight bit of rubbing with the Toyos on the stock rims.

Thanks,

Mark

Welcome to the forum Mark, the dealer can make the change to your ECM using a scan tool. You'll need to know the revs per mile of your new tires (35's may be pushing it though). Toyo should be able to give you the spec.
