Does anyone know a manufacturer or vendor of devices to correct the speedometer readings of the 24V trucks once you install larger (or smaller) tires? I was 10% off with 255/85/16s installed but quickly got tired of always converting to know my true speed. I don't recall seeing any articles in the TDR.

Please reply.

Superlift makes a box that works with 4WAL. The Abbott, as sold, works only with 2WAL, but adding a single resistor in the right place allows it to be used between the CAB and the PCM, so it'll work with both 2W and 4W antilock.

Rickson sell the Abbott and the Superlift. You can call them at 1-800-587-7633

My2¢: I've had the Superlift device in place going on 2 years now and am completely pleased. I'll say it again, I think my results are in part that I used no Scotch-lock style connectors. This is a digital circuit, it should be wired with good solder joints and if you intend to provide plug connectors, reliable OEM style such as MSD-Deutsch or the softer weatherproof Sure-Seal connectors. (I provided a plug to remove the box and also a connector to bypass the unit for testing. The unit is called the Tru-speed.

I also have the Super Lift Tru-speed box. It is working great and you can diel in your speed by simply turning a screw. It also has a toggle switch so you can have two different settings calibrated in ahead of time for different tires sizes. I really like it.
