Symptoms:
Speedometer failure
Tripometer Failure
Odometer Failure
Cruise Failure
ABS light
The 2000 year truck we was working on has two speed sensors. One in the transmission and one in the rear end. Changed both of those with new ones. Still same symptoms. Suspected we still had a bad rear wheel sensor due to so many from here have had the same problem. Pulled the wheel sensor from my 99 and still no luck. Confident then we still had further problems. We then pulled the ABS Controller and swapped them and struck gold
. It was the ABS controller. Same symptoms as every body else on here with rear Vehicle Speed Sensor.
ABS controller from local dealer = $340
