2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Speedometer not working, but not VSS

Our Vehicle Speed Sensor went out a few months back, but that was replaced. The speedometer isn't working again so we replaced the VSS again, but it didn't fix it. It's not that big of a deal, but it makes the transmission difficult to deal with.



Anyway, any ideas on what could cause the speedometer to stop working besides the VSS?
