Attention: TDR Forum Junkies I am sure this sort of subjecta has come up with the stock Getrag,but my truck has a NV4500 swap in it. So my question is. My speedo quit working tonight,and has been working sparadically the past few weeks. I at first thought it was due to the cold weather,because after about 10-20 minutes of bouncing around it would work fine. Tonight it never moved at all. I was wondering if the factory shop manual will help me diagnose this even though it is a non-factory transmission?Any help woul be appreciated. Also my power steering is not working too well,and I removed the cap the other day,and it puked some nasty looking fluid out when I did that. How hard is it to replace a PS pump if I need to do it?Are the pumps available still?Are they factory only parts?Can I get one rebuilt?Sorry for so many questions. Thanks in advance.
