Speedometer/ Tire size recalibration

On a 2012 3500 SRW 4x4 Diesel Automatic can you change the computer or reset the computer to read carrectly for LT285/70R17 tires, factory size LT265/70R17?

Yes, you have to go to the dealer to do it. 285/70/17 is as big as the dealer can go, any larger and you would have to get an aftermarket tuner.

Just came from the local dealer, the service tech stated. No, you can not change or adjust for 2012. Sent an E-mail to Edge, they stated they have nothing to change the settings for 2012, you have to use their screen. Maybe I should have kept the 2006. Has anyone else made the change for a 2012?

Hmm, I wonder what they changed from the 2010-2011's... or if was just a dealer who doesn't know how?

Going back to my 01 the dealer didn't know how to adjust it! Last I knew it was in the screen with gear ratio info and was input as revs per mile (mfg website should have that number for you)
