I love new toys!!!!!!!

Pneumatic Oil Pump

I had saved up the cash to build twins, cam, and water meth. But I bought this instead..... Oh well, I'll still have this bad boy long after the truck is broke, wrecked, or just plain worn out. I also got top cab workstation, the stainless top, stainless drawer gaurds and a roll cart.

Some might say your nuts! I think its sweet box

My wife definitely thinks im nuts. (oh wait, that might not have anything to do with the box) LOL

I have always wanted a snap on box. i have a mac 2 bay top and bottom set now, but its just not as nice as the snap on period.

wdixon, my snap on guy rocks, but you are correct, these babies dont come cheap. But hey, you only live once, why put up with anything but the best :D

Chris, no worries man, I have already started up the super secret- what wifey dont know wont hurt her fund. The truck will get a new bump stick and another turbo under there someday. The B1 just looks lonely sitting there with nothing hooked to it.

my tool guy is a nice guy but i am not positive he could find his ***** with both hands all of the time, took a couple months and a threat to order elseware to get me my sp500 timing kit, the main box and locker were bought separately new but on clarence and the side cab was almost new and some hoss trading got it real cheep

Les, thats next on the agenda :D Got the pad built up and compacted, just waiting to pull the trigger. I already have 3 phase power to it, cant wait to have a place to tinker. Been way too long. Did you go metal or stick frame? I'm Thinking metal, insulated of course

one guy at my work has that exact box in that royal blue color... i can't yet figure out how he got the company to pay/order it for him though??? [company provides all tools, mostly all are armstrong/proto/westward/gray stuff though]

Wow, sounds like he has had his nose in the right (or wrong :-laf ) place.

:-laf:-laf

yeah... although i just got a new westward box a few months back [46"x24"x40" rollcab] and just this morning, i got a brand new oxy/acy torch body and set of heating & brazing tips, cutting tips and rosebud tips that sit at around the $500 mark in price... sad when the company uses these purchases to bribe the workers ;)

You know I have really missed these post, the last few years I had to turn my attentions elsewhere, but hopefully I can now have the time to play around on here.

I have to agree, I hate anything used! I can fully understand why people buy used things, but I can't bring myself to do it. I would just rather save up a little longer then buy it used. mainly I feel like other just would't take care of things like I would, Sounds silly to some I would imagine, but thats me.

I have also longed for a nice shop/garage. And just recently (yesterday they poured the floor) I took steps to get myself that shop i always wanted. It is 64' x 40' and has 12' tall ceilings. Two overhead doors, one 11x10 and the other 11x16. I also made a 12' wide porch/overhang area around the front and right side, That area gets poured next monday if all goes as planed. I decided to go with 1 2-post 10k lbs lift and 1 4-post 7k lbs lift. The four poster will be used mainly for a 1933 ford I intend to rebuild. I chose Bend Pack as the lift manufacturer, I feel them and Rotary Lift are the two main players, with quality and safety in-mind. Any one else have experience with Bend Pack?

I am lucky, I get to buy all new equipment for the shop, so any suggestions would be appeciated. I have not purchased anything as of now, but with the floor being poured, the time is coming quickly. For now I will concentrate on the electric. I am going to run everything in conduit, and look forward to the task. The wire itself is about $2100. 00, and the material another $2200. 00.

I already have several fabrication tools, like welders and plasma cutters, etc. But one tool I have always wanted and I am getting is a IronWorker, a 45-Ton model with a HD break.

No experience with the bend pack. My dad put a rotary 9k asymetrical in his shop 2 years ago, and it is awesome. Great pricing and service just cant be beat. Heck, i am so spoiled by it, i drive 20 miles now just to change my oil instead of flopping down on my back and doing it on the floor at my house. hopefully that will change in the near future, i am looking to build my shop hopefully next year. Had to spend a chunk of change replanting my orchard this year, so no shop for me now :{ My dream is 60x100 with 16ft ceilings I plan to put an interior wall up at the 60x 40 mark and use that side for a shop and the 60x60 part for storing all my trailers, cars and tractor and junk.
