spin on transmission filter

Has anyone put a spin on filter on there transmission? I bought one from Summit and was going to install it on my 48re.

A couple online sites carry a exterior oil filter that mounts to the frame.

They cost between$ 30-100. 00 $ adds extra fluid and filters fluid more than just a screen. Remove line from radiator and attach to filter put the other side to the radiator.

Bob Riley at http://www.dieselsitetoo.com is sending me a prototype filter for my 2005 3500. I had one of his on my 1999 PowerStroke and it worked well. I imagine the new assemblies will be available from his website in the very near future
