Spindle nut size on '93 4x4...............

I want to do a brake job on my truck but I want to have all the tools handy before I start, What is the spindle nut size on the locknut so I can remove the rotor?

I used a 2 1/2" 6-pt truck socket to get both of the nuts off.

You'll need a special 4 point nut socket for the front Dana 60. Try Napa or other parts stores or Snap-on. Make sure you get the one for the 60 front though, the Dana 44 socket is slightly smaller.

You may want to check what you have. Mine didn't have that type of nut as I bought that socket before I started and then had to find something else after my truck was in pieces. I had 2- 2 1/2" nuts on each side.
