Spinner II centrifuge

Just came across a atricle about this filter and wondered if anyone was using one? I use the large model on my cat motor and it really gets out the soot. you can scrape it off the filter housing. The model I am looking into is the 400hd The mfg claims it will flow 480 gal/hr and hold 4,000 cubic centimeters of solids. I wondered if anyone knew anything about this product? Can not find anything in search eng but oil discussions.

i have been seeing it a lot in the diesel injection of pittsburg articles. they seem to be a reputable company doing big things with the big cummins motors for quite awhile. nothing but good things to say about the spinner oil bypass thing from them. www.dieselinjection.net there are references to them all over in the how to build horsepower and torque part on the left side drop list. thats the best i can do for you.

The 400HD is big enough for a Detroit 16V-149 (39 liter engine!)... what in the heck are you going to put this thing on?!

Too big ? I wanted to put it on my dodge/cummins mabe I need a wee smaller model I only thought of this model because I don't have the air to spin it like I do in the big truck and this model has a motor to spin it. Just a thought to get rid of the soot in the oil.

I have also been looking into them. I can't find the prices on the brands I have seen though. Anyone have price and dealer info?
