There was a post awhile back about wiring sport lights using a cable harness instead of geno's brite box. Anybody have the info. Thanks Kenny

Hi, Kenny. The aftermarket wiring harnesses are made (or sold) by an outfit called APC and are available from different sources. I don't have that info in front of me right now. It's unfortunate that the search is down, or the info would be easy to find. I believe that if you have 'ground-switched' headlights (at least back to '99), the harnesses may require adjustment to work properly.

BTW, they are 14AWG; much better than some of that 20AWG nonsense in the stock trucks. They cost about $50 each, and two harnesses are required, one for the 9007s and one for the 9004s for best results.

I'll dig through my hard copy when I get home from the flying club meeting tonight, if no one beats me to it.

will take you right to the harnesses. The url below will take you to more info to do with the sport headlight conversion.

I haven't done the mod, although I will in the near future. It's a matter of time and $. There are probably going to be complications caused by daytime running lights, but I can easily overcome that obstacle.

The sport headlights will bolt right into anything after 98. 5.

Guy knows his lights. He has a kit for all sport light conversions. The price is not too bad ($84 for mine). the kit is not on his website so you will have to email him for info.
