2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Sport Package

Has anyone swapped the Sport package grille and bumper from a 2000 to an earlier year truck? I am going to paint the 97 and I like the bigger grille of the sport package.

Rod :

I believe as long as you do both the bumper and the grille it should work. The 1999 and newer "Sport" grilles are contoured to the front bumpers, unlike the 1998's and older grilles. Not really sure about the extra wiring that possibly would be needed for the fog lamps. Good luck !
