The transmission is the best money I ever spent on the truck. My transmission was not actually built by Goerend's. It was built by a local transmission man with Dave's TC, VB, input shaft, and a few other small parts. I used to work at a shop that sold Dave's transmission's. At that time he was so overwhelmed with orders for complete transmission's, the wait was at times over six weeks. The magic isn't in the build, anyway, it's in the pieces Dave has designed and perfected. Any good transmission man can assemble Dave's parts.
As to power, I'm currently right at 350. When I first built the '98 I was running a larger turbo and I was just over 400 but it was very smokey and laggy so I jumped on the 351CW and sold the 66.
