I was thinking of placing a spot mirror onto my existing mirrors to help eliminate the blind spots. My question is, with the heated mirrors will that interfere or disrupt the adhesive that is on the back of the spot mirrors, or is the heat distrubuted way to small of an amount to worry about?

I had spots on my old truck (have not done yet on the new one). Did not have any problems at all, but I didn't use the heat that often (and never when it's extremely hot out anyway).

I really like the CIPA "Hot Spots". Their edges are silver and lower-profile. The black plastic ones have higher edges, which combined with the color can be a little distracting (IMHO). I'd also recommend bigger ones, because you end-up using them as much, or more, than the flat part. Mounted outer/lower is nice for parking (you can see your tires & side).

Had them on the y2k

and never had a problem even when running the heat for loonng periods.
