Update
Well, made it back with the new to me 92. Fred was big help in Pheonix in figuring out the electrical issues, also changed the fluids and filters for the 2600 mile jaunt.
Pics are in the link provided by Earl kann, so no need to post any additional at this time till things change.
The truck was an original owner truck and it did have 115k. It has some performance upgrades on it, a banks 14cm wastegated turbo, different intercooler than whats on my dually. The owner said he had a bunch of banks stuff put on it when he bought it in 92. It also has an aftermarket re-usable filter; that thing must not have been cleaned in years!!!!! It took me four washings to get it reasonable. I'm not sure what filter was available back then but its blue and I only have access to K&N cleaning and oil here so that's what I used.
The truck does have some issues; electrical for one. The guy had gadgets wired in this thing, will have to have it checked out, but nearly everything electrical works.
Two after market saddle tanks on each side made out of steel that are coated with rust inside, so they'll have to come off.
I think Fred said it had 3rd gen wheels on it, if folks want to open the link and confirm I would be interested.
The frame is cracked in front of the steering box. It appears to be just in front but will have to inspect further.
Now for the good stuff... ... ... ... ... ... ... . this thing rolls coal. I don't know what the HP is but it is up there. This thing hauls. The getrag was rebuild at 85k, so it should last me for awhile.
The mileage was also phenominal (compared to my dually). It got 22-24 miles to the gallon... . can't complain, but now I have to wonder about the dually, does a getrag make that big of a difference???? Or is it the performance upgrades???
Sorry for the long post, hey Sunday night Football is over and it looks like the BoSox are advancing.
