On 65N just out side of the 80 toll,(chicagoland area) spotted a mega cab long bed dually :--) (read: big hips, not flares) :D It was about 11:30PM EST it has dark tinted windows, was painted dull black and didn't have any wheel covers or badges and I didn't notice any exhaust sticking out of the back :confused: Mabie a tester for the new motor and they dodn't get the exhaust completed. It was quick what ever it had in it, I ran out of gear and he left me and my 300+ ponies in the dust, had a very distinct whistle to it too :confused: wierd because the 06's I have driven are nearley silent. wish i had a camera phone with me so I could'a got a shot at it.

Mabie there is hope for the MC LB after all?

No way, that's AwEsOmE!!! I wonder when that thing will be released to the public.

Supersonic-Track that thing down again and snap some spy photos for us!!!

I understand, the only reason Dodge hasn't built a MC-LB, is because they need to develop a frame. You would need quite a strong frame, if you loaded the box with say, a couple of pallets of bricks, etc.

A few days ago my ford friend said that he saw a black dodge that looked alot longer than my dads down by his work, he works construction on 80-94. He too said it was flat black with black wheels with a CB antenna on the roof. With no visible tags. :confused:

Not a CB antenna. Actually they have a data logger of sorts that feeds live analog info to their home base via cell or satellite. Ford did tis alot while testing the 6. 0 up and down between louisville and detroit. While we were working at the FLTP I talked to a few of the test drivers that were filling up to return to Warren, and that's when I got the indication the th 6. 0 were going to be trouble, they were complaining of bad injectors, turbos, and oil and fuel leaks and this was only about two weeks before they hit the dealer lots.

Travis, I still have the 98 12v, TDR doesn't allow enough characters to put all my diesel dodges on my signature.

If it ran away from a hopped up '05, I'd say they probably got the frame problem whipped!

I live about 5 miles from NVG (new venture gear), every now and then you see something funny like that. Flat black, no emblems, or a tarp or something wrapped to hide body lines. Of course you never have a camera with you!

I just want you to know that you just made my day... I have no problem waiting for what I want, and that's a Mega long bed.

I've got to make sure my next garage is EXTRA deep. Maybe I'll have to build my next house instead of buying an existing one!

Actually it ran off trom my 98 12v. 5sp. 370's, 191's, 0-plate, 4k GSK, Modded HX 40-16, 4. 10's.

My truck runs out of gear and starts getting hot pretty quick. But I still think that if the other truck were stock I would've been able to pull him till i ran out of RPM :confused: Mabie they were testing the limits of the new engine in the heavier truck? It did smoke a little but like I said before, it's turbo was making some beautiful music when he decided that I didn't need to look at his truck any more. probably afraid that i'd get a spy photo, which I would have if I had a camera :{

This weekend the manager at the dealer told me that he sat in a 4500/5500 dodge. It had a mercedes engine and allison trans with a new fully boxed frame :confused: Thats just what he said, so dont quote me ;)
