Don't know about the Speedliner, but I got Line-X on mine and I hauled 4k logs from CT to VA on it, and when I got home, I used a chain and drove out from under the logs, one at a time, and figured the last ones were about 400# each, dragging across the liner. When I hosed out the dust and dirt, you couldn't tell I ever had anything in there.

I just sold my Dodge Dakota 2000 4x4 5. 9l to my brother and I had line x installed in the bed I used to haul bricks and rebar and never had a dent scratch etc. Line x is going into the bed of my new 2004 3500, nothing else compaires to a rubber that is installed hot and sticky.

My suggestion would be to find out what type of application they use. HOT or COLD spray. It is my understanding that they use pretty much the same materals for HOT spray and that HOT spray is more durable. COLD spray turns out more spongy.

I would offer what bed liner you want depends on what you want the liner for. Line X is harder and durable for things like shovels, but Rhino is softer and things will not slide around with a Rhino. I had a camper that would move all over the bed. Put in a Rhino and the camper would stay put. I think you should consider what you will use the liner for. Line X is harder and Rhino softer, both are good products.

I have Speed Liner in my 2001. got it at my dealers body shop. Been in for 2 1/2 yrs gaurenteed not to fade, has a higher dent strenth than Rhino. I payed $350. 00 that included over the bed rails. The other brands I checked on wanted $100. 00 more for bed rails sprayed. Real happy with speed liner

I had mine done in March 1998. Still looks good. My friend has a Linex on his F-250, and it is no comparision to Speedliner. Speedliner is very hard. I've had rocks, dirt, logs in my bed, not a mark. The only thing that left a small mark was battery acid. I had my friend's ATV in the back of my truck. It had a brand new battery in it and puked a little bit of battery acid out of the vent tube. The acid bleached a small area on the bedliner. I say go see trucks that each place has done and compare. Then you'll see what I mean about Speedliner. Definitely worth the money. Remember the installer is the key, so definitely look at trucks they have done before you plunk down your cash. -Glen:D

My Uncle just got a '04 HO Cummins, and had a Speed liner put on. Looked like a very high quality job, and comparable to the Line-X in my truck. I have had no complaints with my liner, and he said that in his previous trucks the Speed liner never did him wrong and held up well. Hope it helps, James

Speedliner sounds good, and I've talked at length with a very honest(?) dealer in Gresham, OR about the various products who feels that it's the best of the lot of them, and is one of few that guarantee against fade for life.

gFrance, "I payed $350. 00 that included over the bed rails

That's an excellent price. Mind saying which dealer?

I have Rhino liner in one truck that is tough and thick. We haven't been able to damage it, and my only complaint is that it is rougher in texture (too big little rubber chunks) than I'd prefer and has a "sparkle" in it that turns me off.

I have Line-X in my 03 dually and it came clean after hualing a jet ski from Va to Fl and back just sparyed and it looked new. The only problem was the installer unhooked the tailgate running lights and it took me 2 weeks to discover it.
