Sprayed liners

Well I had my bed sprayed last friday. Had to drive 60 miles to get Line-x job. I had an appointment to have under the rail job. Well after getting there and seeing over the rail they had just done I changed my mind. My truck is driftwood and over the rail looks grest. One regret; I have fifth wheel hitch which I removed but I didn't remove the seven pin socket mounted on inside of bed. Where it got taped up doesn't look great. Not a real clean line. Going to use razor blade to trim then put black silicone on. Wish I had removed the socket. and let them spray under it. Looks great every where else.

Hi Paul,
I have a Rhino Liner on my current rig. I will take delivery this week of my new 2000 3500 4X4, SLT+, Driftwood/Tan Leather with every possible option. I have thinking about getting a Linex this time. I have a few questions for you. How much was the cost of your Linex? Have you seen the Rhino product and if so why did you choose Linex? Is it thick?

Bad Brad, good questions. There is a Rhino here in town yet I drove 120 miles round trip to get Line-x. They were about same price. Decided on Line-x because of comments on this site plus bring truck home after finished( 2 1/2 hours ). Rhino keeps truck over night. Price under rail $375, over the rail $425. Thickness looks like about 3/32 inch. Over the rail comes out to where rail starts to turn down. Also Line-x goes on hot( 180 degrees ).

I've got Rhino and brought it home after it was done the same day. My bed is a full 1/4" and the sides are 1/8" thick; you can get either thicker or thinner, but that's standard. The Rhino guy has a place in Burlington, but his spray shop is up in B-ham, a ways out the Guide. There's also a location in Lynnwood. I like Rhino's look and feel better than Line-X, but that's just an opinion. It has weathered some abuse and comes up looking great. They also told me if it ever tears, digs or whatever, they repair it free. I suspect this whole topic is like trucks - both good products, just what's yer taste?
