Marylands International Raceway Rain Date

Wedding bells for a great couple from CT!

Had a B L A S T!!! It was just plain GREAT to see HeyBoss , FIGGY!!! ,Mr Holeshot , and Formula again!!!!! Good Turnout few new faces, allways great to see. Some Long haulers too BigMike and NoSpinForMe from central Jersey~Ish?

O. K Its time for that good ol Things We Learned section.

Truthfully there is more than one way to get rellish out of a jar when in a "Jam"

It's easy to change the color of Mustang seats.

When a couple kids get on the dyno and spin the rollers I guess you have no choice but to believe they won the "Stock" class

An $8 dollar Spatula can feel like a $20 dollar one if you shop correctly

Until I get on that Pius I am just going to have to settle with my over way too much fuel issue.

398 and 809 DOWN From 401 and 822 from a year or so ago. I had a spike of 438 and 1000 and was cheering like a schoolgirl at a barbie pep rally until Mike broke the news that it spiked from the quick converter unlock-relock.

Speaking of which I want to take a minute to say THANK YOU to Mike Dez Truly what has to be one of the nicest guys in the sport from the outside. I mean here is a guy that takes Mustangs and other pony's and foxes and makes them into sick SICK machines. A couple I guess are over the 1000 Hp mark ..... IN STREET TRIM  Anyhow he just in in a league of his own when it comes to customer service , His clientel as well as ours. Not Too many can say that but those who can ... and there are... Here's one to ya

Come on Timmay... . I'm a lot closer than that. Did you get a chance to see my plate? I hail from the same state that Mike's shop is in.

Remember from the other thread... 93 miles, sounds like an hour ride? :-laf

Doug

Dad had a blast... as expected.

He called me just after getting off the rollers to report his numbers...

He gained 50hp between the PDR camshaft, '022' DV's, ATS manifold, and 4" exhaust... but he (like TMTT) is WAY under turboed at this point.

MTY

Ahh... so there you guys are... who posted the big numbers? Did TorqueThis dyno? . . stumble?

What color were the burgers?... black or blacker?

Sorry I couldn't make it but Saturday turned out to be the day to get free professional electrical help finally getting power to my shop. Believe me, when I turn the tablesaw on, the lights go *out*! Course there's only 12 skinny lil amps running down the 80 foot wire to the shop and they still have to light the basement in their spare time. I figure about 11 of those amps die of attrition along the way, "You go on and finish the mission without us", before the last amp throws itself upon the saw motor and dies.

I spent Saturday trenching in some galvanized pipe to get a 100 amp service to the shop. Man, it feels like Christmas!

MTE

Matt, yes I did spin them... not very good results, I think 360 was the number... I was hitting 3200 at 80 MPH...

I am going up to see Scott in a few weeks... he has a plan for further diagnostics...

Moose Numbers: HP 179, TQ 352; with one TC unlock at just before "Peak Torque". Pretty happy with the ole' girl, She is bone stock.

Matt, the burgers were the first shade of black, The grill was to the left off the shop door and Up-wind:)

A couple of pics... ... .

Engine crate and mustang hood picnic table.....

Tall F250..... the top of the tailgate is about 6 feet high..... riding on 37" super swampers... ...

Good. I think Scott will be able to get to the bottom of this!

When is Moose going to get started?

Nothing like a Mustang hood when you need a quick table!

When is Moose going to get started?

When Moose can find some Ca$h for a DTT :{ Mooses hate to be left on the side of the road after running over their transmission. It happened once, one dark winter night at the Basketball Hall of Fame in beautiful Springfield Mass. :( It was my K1500 Worktruck, all 4. 3 Liters of it. :D

Oh, man... Don't even get Jeff and I started on how much we loved the 4. 3L 90° V6 gasser engines we used to own. When they run great... they're 262cid of fury. I don't like to think about when they don't run great... In the end, I beat the ever living snot out of two 4. 3L's in one truck... and they performed well... longevity/fuel economy leaves a lot to be desired, though.

The 4. 3L Chevy is Truly the Mouse that Roared!! :D ; For the Moose any way :-laf Moose

You know... since the 4. 3L V6's are basically 5. 7L V8's missing two cylinders... I think it's safe to call a 4. 3L a "mouse".

Dad's 461cid 'rat' used to run quite nice in the old '82 Chevy K10.

Matt, The longevity/fuel economy issue is way I went back to the Cummins, as I had a 89 1st Gen 250+ K miles on her before I totaled her :{ I don't think I am going back to Gas anytime soon, Moose
