This is the part that the spring pivot hooks to on the rear.

Are they still avail new?

Or can heavier ones be bought?

Mine are both in very rusty condition. I thought they just needed cleaned up, BUT I was wrong.

If I could get mount, spring pivot and all I would do that.

The truck was a plow truck for a few years.

It is amazing to see the difference in the front and the rear of the frame.

The front part, from rear axle centerline forward looks good, from there back it looks ugly.

Thanks, KO

NO idea if the parts are available but suspect that they are not. I have all the hanger parts from a Texas truck that I have junked. I probably could get them off and send them by UPS. If you can't find them locally, PM and we can talk $$.

You can always make some new ones (or have someone make them if ya aren`t handy with a welder). Here is a write up on how to make them, complete with PDF files for the design. They are designed to lift the truck but I imagine you could adjust the dimensions accordingly to get whatever size you would need.

If you have a spring shop nearby they can probably get them. The shackles definetely, hangers, maybe.

Thanks for the links.

Can I just basically build them upside down to stay "stock"?

I want to keep the stock ride height.

Thanks again,

KO

Make sure the mounts you get are the same offset as the stock ones you are replacing. I found out when searching for a rear azle that there are at least half a dozen different widths for spring spacing. I have a 90 and 92- 90 is 1 in narrower than the 92. Frame rails are the same width, so it has to be in the spring hangers.
