Didnt know what section that this should go in so here goes. Im replacing the spring hangers on a stock trailer. Went to grease the wheel bearings and found that the rear most hanger on a 3 axle trailer was cracked almost thru. The trailer is VERY old I think that Noah had used it to collect the animals for the arc. The hangers were no problem to get and the metal is better than that of the original and thicker. I have looked at other forums and have gotten conflicting advice about welding on the hangers. Some say that only the front and rear of the hanger should be welded others say weld all 4 sides of the hanger to the frame. Still others say to weld either way but to add a bar from the inside to inside part of the spring hangers. I guess that would stop the distortion of the axle somewhat when backing and having to jack the trailer hard to get it into place. Any advice would be a help thanks BIG
