Ok guys... . here's my delema. I may have found a great holster, but I'm still looking. (K&D Holsters Cochise Defender)

Anyone have a suggestion for an IWB, SOB holster? Now to make that even more difficult... . I'm either not flexable enough, or built funny... I can't reach around the small of my back palm in. It's like a cop is doing the Arm Bar move on me. No good.

So, IWB, SOB, with the butt of the gun along the right side of my back, set for palm out retrevial.

Any suggestions?

Thanx

Josh

I would definately go with a good quality IWB over a SOB anyday. The SOB has many disadvantages like the one you already found.

Ive tried quite a few IWB rigs for my Custom Colt Commander and they never fit me right. I finally found one that I can wear 24-7 and not even know its there, its the Brommeland MAX CON V Another great is the Milt Sparks Versamax 2 (if you can find one, they stay sold out they are so popular).

Both of these cost around 100 bucks but will be the last one you ever buy.

Personally, I can't get used to the feeling of any of the IWB holsters I have tried.

I have the Springfield Champion and since the barrel is shorter I got one of the OWB holsters from these guys: Rafter S Leather

It rides high on the hip so it conceals really well.

They have IWB versions as well. The fit and finish is top notch, prices are reasonable, and their customer service is great. Give them a call, they might have something that will fit your needs.
