Springtime first gen meet in Iowa. June 11,12,13, 2010

The time has come to start planning on a meeting of the first gens at my place here near Lenox, Iowa. My wife and I looked at the calander and think that June 11, 12, and 13 would be a good time to try. Its a couple weekends after Labor Day, and a couple weekends before 4th of July. Hopefully spring work will be done to.



I have a nice garage to work/meet in, and have a decent front yard to camp in. If anyone wants there are motels in Creston. Hopefully it will work like SOP, some people show up on Friday night, then Saturday some wrenching, polishing, eating, visiting, bench racing, and whatever else. Then Sunday morning everyone can roll out twords home. I do hope that some of the Indiana/Ohio boys and girls can make it out, and even you Petey. Maybe we can even draw some western guys out, and get to gether.



What do ya'll think? Start asking for vacation time, and cash from the CFO of the household and come on out. :-laf

Now Pete, we can only call is SOL if you show up and make it that way... . :-laf I've still thinking of a good name for it, and I'm sure it will come eventually. Kinda like when Thunder in Muncie recieved its name, it just came about.....

Michael, great news! I've been wanting to host something myself for a long time now, maybe someday we'll have first gen get-togethers every month! SOP just can't come soon enough, we've been needing a spring/summer event for awhile now. You can count me in for both attendence and a camping spot.
