I just installed the SpynTech front end conversion kit on my 96 Dodge.

It really makes a big difference in the truck.

I put all new ball joints and tie rods on it while I was doing the kit.

Purchased the kit through EMS. Oo.

Midnite,

Here is a link to EMS Offroad EMS Offroad, Custom 4x4 Fabrications

If you Google Spyntec they come up pretty easy.

Included in the kit is:

• Forged hubs.

• Forged spindles.

• Includes all bearings, races, seals, and spindle nuts.

• Premium Warn locking hubs.

• Wheel Studs

• 35-Spline Stub Shafts

• Installation Directions

The Hubs do include new brake rotors as well.

The kit cost a little over $1500. 00 and I spent about $5-600. 00 on top of that for other stuff like tie rod ends and brake pads etc.

My calipers were still good to go.

My truck has 412 kmiles on it so it has been down the road a lot.

My rotors were still original and needed replaced, tie rod ends were original and getting loose, ball joints were loose.

Also my cartrige wheel bearing had been replaced twice and were ready to be replaced again.

If you figure the cost of brake rotors, cartrige bearings and these are replaced by the kit, it is a real good deal and you have packable bearings aftere the conversion.

Not a whole lot more work than putting cartrige bearings in. Of course I did the ball joints too.

See Ya

Hey everyone,

I put a bunch of pictures in Photobucket, here is a link... ... ... ... ...

Spyntec Hub pictures by kb0ou - Photobucket

For some reason, I don't know why, Photobucket shuffled the pictures all up, they are not in order.

I put some titles on them, if you have questions, let me know.

I did have one minor problem with a spindle, the one I put on the Right Side had to be modified some to get the outer bearing to slide on it. Had to do some sanding to get it to fit. I don't think that should have to be done.

The hole in the Knuckle had to be widened some to get the spindles bolted to the knuckles, that is no big deal, they said some adjustments would have to be made.

But, the wheel bearings should have fit the spindles without modification.

See Ya,

John
