Does anyone else have squeaky front stock brakes? I only have 27k mi on the truck and have a terrible squeak only when coming to a stop. Also, the rear brakes seem to lock up when it is wet or raining at slow speeds(5mph). I have adjusted the rear brakes at oil changes and the fronts have over half the original thickness. I did a search and could not find anything except replacement post. It is starting to get on my nerves with both brake issues. Could the anti-lock sensor be bad on the rear? Do I need to replace the front pads now? I would like to get this fixed before the cold weather sets in .

Thanks all!

Yea I have the same problem, but didn't start until about 55k. Took the truck to a local brake place figuring the pads needed replacing and they said no, there was still about 50% left. Said the pads are hard metallic and will squeal like that. I've learned to just ignore it. Plus the music from the Cummins and 4"Jardine usually drowns most of it. I wouldn't worry.
