Anyone know what is a common failure on the belt system that would cause it to squeel?

I was waiting at a stop light yesterday and I was thinking, sheez, someone needs a new belt! Well it was my truck

I can't seem to find where the noise is coming from, though it seems that it's around the alternator area. I'm wondering if maybe the tensionsor bearing is seizing up?

The belt is about a year old ~ 20,000 miles and it's in great shape.

when mine used to squeek it was due to that oil breather bottle. I relocated it and cleaned the engine and radiator and replaced the belt. No more squeeking. -Jason

Mine has been relocated for a while now, was actually one of the first things I did. I also wanted to mention that is doesn't make a difference if the A/C pump is running or not (was thinking perhaps that was seizing up) and it seems worse when I drive home in the evening, vs going to work in the AM (no squeel with it's cooler out)
