I have pulled the fuel pump and checked to see if it is putting out good pressure. I drained the fuel filter andrefilled it by evacuating the air, I have pulled the ksb valve to ensure it is working order {I'm still not sure} it neither pulls in or pushed out when the switch is turned. The truck has over 300k on the engine but the injector was replaced when it had 100k miles on it. If you stop the engine after is has been running for a while it starts up on a dime. If you let it sat for an hour like I did the other day it may take an hour to start it back. I talked to a guy today and he thought it could be injector timing. How about the shut off sol? coul it be my problem? Help please gar

Sounds like air is leaking back into the fuel system when the engine is stopped. You don't have to have a fuel leak for air to leak back in, either. Check everything on the low pressure and suction side of the fuel system. I don't think leaks at the high pressure lines can cause air to enter, but I'm not 100% sure about that.

I finally found the problem, after the reply from a member and talking to the guy who built the truck, (Mr. Lambdom, the king) told me to look at the return hose from the pump the the tank, it had a small hole in it that caused the problem, I tested it to be sure it was the fix. I also failed to mention that this truck is a 93 Dodge Ramcharger 5spd nv4500 with 411 axles. I would like to post photos in the future on this forum. I would like to thank the folks for the replys I recieved and I hope this helps others later. GAR Oo.
