The short bed QC prototype is now complete. Friday of last week I went to Michigan to have the brackets welded and measurements made for the actual bars. The bars arrived by FED EX today. They were quickly painted black, and and screwed onto the heim bearings. The bars do not protrude in any manner below existing springs or the axle. The fit was perfect, as was the overall quality of the product and the engineering involved.
What do they do? Well for starters launch is firmer, if not instantaneous. It is impossible for spring wrap, yet the axle is free to move. No more strain on the universal joint from axle wrap. Brake torqueing the truck raises the rear end 1. 5-2 inches.

Power is direct to the ground with zero axle hop. I have yet to test the bars off road, but see an enormous opportunity to increase traction. I would buy them again. For anyone with a BOMBed truck, this product is a must.
