SS Ladder Bars on a 2001.5

Just finished installing a set of SS Ladder Bars on my 2001. 5 QC LB.

Noticed right off the bat ... smoother on the ride ... no axle wrap at all.

If you are looking for the best aftermarket ladder bars these are the ones. I looked far and wide for something that was enginerred for the Dodge and these are the answer. No one had ladder bars for the 3/4 ton w/diesel, the other ones I found were for the 1/2 ton w/gas motor.

An added note on the ladder bars is that the truck seems to stop a lot faster, as there is no noticable wheel hop when the brakes are applied. I came to a sudden stop on Friday the 13th behind an Excursion and the S-10 behind me used me as a Ram Brake.

Does anyone else with ladder bars notice the braking difference ??

Steve, I hope your Ram wasn't damaged too badly.

Bumper and mounting brackets , hitch and mounting bolts, reset box to line up, and some paint and we are good to go.

It will be nice to have it look like this again
