Free dyno time in Pahrump

The Gateway Diesel Owners Association is setting up a gathering at the Golden Corral in St. Charles, MO. We need to set a date. The choices are December 8th, 9th, 15th, or 16th. Please post what day you prefer. The majority will rule. This is also posted on

Please respond with your intent to attend. This is a good eating establishment. We can stay for hours and talk trucks and mods and to set up future gatherings.

Dave You've been reading my mind ( which can get really scary when you get to the Things To Do to The Rams, department) but I digress. I am available on any of the dates you have mentioned. It sounds like the First Annual Gateway Turbo Diesel Owners Christmas Party to me. :D Good Friends, Good food, Good conversation and a Chance to show off our Beloved Rams(Plural for some of us). I can't wait for the PARTY to start. :D :D :D

As always,

Don, slightly insane, but still lovable, Cummins Powered Rams Owner. Yes that, PLURAL, meaning more than one

any of those are fine for me too. as long as Momma holds that baby in :D she's due on the 24th.

Don, I'm thinking you should see a Doctor about you addiction. :D

any day for me..... I would prefer a Saturday though. So really the 8th or 15th. Looking forward to the good food and good times again there.

Date and Time Set

Ok, since there is not a lot of posting going on and the group mailing for all the email addresses we have is not working, I have tallied all the posts so far and it does not seem to matter when to many. The ones with the farthest to come have asked for Sunday the 9th of December. We will meet around 10:30-11:00am at the Golden Corral in St. Charles, MO. The directions are as follows. Take any road you have to to get to I-70 in Eastern MO and into St. Charles. Take the Zumbehl Rd exit and head south. You will travel about 1/2 mile and the place is on the left. Hope to see all of you there. That gives us three weeks to get things together.

St.Louis

Hello fellows,

I hope to make it to St. Louis on the 9th at 10:30 am. I will be coming from Evansville, In. I'm glad to find a group close enough for me to not need an extended stay. Although a lot going on in Indiana, it is mostly in the Northern part which is a solid 6+ hour drive for me. was wishing I could go to South Bend Clutch for Bombing Day, but 15th doesn't work for me. Hope to see you all there!! I'm sure we can't miss each other.....

Louis:p

Hi Louis

Nice to hear from you. I hope you can make the track. I would like to go to the South Bend meet too, but it's too far for me, also.

dec. 9th

Hello David and everyone else,

As you are all probably aware. I'm a relatively new member and am new at this all. However, I did purchase an Edge Comp. and look forward to putting it on truck. Although I'm laying low on piercing the fuel line due to warranty. I will have it on my truck, hopefully, if it is as easy as everyone says it is by Dec. 9th. I hope too see increased power and fuel efficiency if I can keep my foot under control with this trip. Any advice for me on the trip. It will be my first long drive with it installed.

Louis

EGT'S

Louis, you don't state in your signature that you have any gauges. You should have gauges installed to watch your egt's as the comp box will make them very high especially if the exhaust system is still the stock one. Just play a little and do not hold the pedal to the floor for very long. Say no more than 10 seconds. Hope you have a nice time playing on your way to meet:D:D

David

well I live by the theory of:

Gas on, Brains off... .

Seriously you should talk to some folks that have the Edge box and see what levels of trim they recommend. or even call Edge themselves, they wont bite :D

do you have an HO truck. they tend to run a little hotter and you should make sure whoever you talk to, knows what your running.

I was planning on going to the SouthBend event (15th) as long as momma permits. I also plan to have my PM3 updated later that week @ TST's place.

Louis, Hi and welcome to our crazy little world. Some advice from one who advocates moderation in all things, especially Cummins powered rams, I would like suggest you run your box at about half throttle as it were. My HO likes to run with my TST box set on either 5 or 6. It seems most responsive there and the EGT's stay on the cooler side. You can always crank her up for the silly Vette or Mustang owner who thinks they can beat a diesel powered pickup.

Has anyone spoken to Sagwagon lately? I haven't seen any posts from him in a long while. You don't think we made him mad at us do you? Steve, if your out there send me an E-Mail, cause I managed to lose everybody's addresses.

Don

Don, I have been in contact with Steve. After the date was set for the gathering he set it up with the eatery. See all of you in a few days.
