Stacked Bully Dog with Edge, Nothing.....

I went to ATS yesterday, Jason and I went for a ride with this new HOT ROD Aurora 3000 they built for me. Truck seems to lack in mid-range. He tells me I need more fuel. He suggested I stack the Bully Dog with the Edge Juice. So I buy a bully dog stack it with the juice and I have an injector knock from hell with the juice on stage 1, truck seems to be slower, less smoke. Do you guys have any ideas?

I don't see any fuel pump upgrades to your fuel system. Have you upgraded your fuel pump to a FASS, etc. ? Without it you may be running dry.



The knock is probably from the BullyDog and Edge both adding timing.

Triple Dog and Edge juice is not a good stack. Triple Dog and the TST stack is much better. If you want a mild add, you can do the Triple Dog with the Edge EZ.

That would be a bad stack!!!! I burnt up #5 cylinder with that same stack.

Not sure why? To much timing or what but I wouldn't do it.

I seem to get a injector knock at any setting above 1 on the edge. How about the TST and the Bully Dog? I heard thats a good stack.

i dont know what the problem is, i have ran that stack for a good while-- it's better than the tst from what i can tell

Seems like I am waisting my money with the Juice if I cant go any setting above stage one. Or maybe even the bully dog. Would a different programmer work better instead of the bully dog?

My diablo stacks very well with my hot juice. Of course mine is an 03. It does make more smoke and would take care of any lag you may have in the midrange.

I have the EZ stacked with a T-Dog on my 04. 5 & it isn't a bad combo. I noticed more on the low end, but not to noticeable at high rev's. They seem to work great together. I shut the dog off when towing & the edge is nice on the bottom end.

Have been running the Bully Dog Crazy Larry program with Edge Juice/Attitude for over a year and no noticeable issues yet... . ? I just sent in my Edge for the HOT upgrade and the turbo timer.



Does the Bully Dog add timing AND pressure?

Got my Edge juice back the other day... Found out that Edge J/A alters timing and duration only for the 04. 5 and later trucks (according to phone conversation with Edge). Apparently the Bully Dog does pressure as well. Stacked mine... ... ran the Crazy Larry (most extreme) and the Edge on every setting I have. Very happy with both. No known issues yet and have heard that it's a good stack from two guys around the Angola area.
