2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission stacking boxes

yes i have a 2001 dodge cummins automatic transmission with a edge compbox,single 5 inch stack,and a k&n air intake but stock injectors. . and i want to get the smarty to stack on top of it... so my question is... will that work or will that be to much fuel for the stock injectors. . what levels would you recommend each 1 be on... help me out!!thanks a ton -Seth

you should be okay. just run the smarty on even #'s. You'll have to watch your egts.

I'm not sure how long a stock automatic transmission will hang with that combo...

well i am gonna put a perfromance transmission in sometime next year... will it hold comp box with some injectors or is that gonna be the same as comp with the smarty thanks 4 all the help... keep on it... thanks Seth

A comp is probably all it will hold without some type of transmission mods.

yup, if you stack a smarty you will be putting a transmission in real soon, i am suprised your stock one holds the comp alone. another thing is as fun as the smarty comp stack is, you wont really be able to use it considering you will be getting real hot real quick. . as far as injectors or a smarty??? good question. . i truthfully cant think of which i would do if i could do it again. . either way you will be

well u guys are great... ok so got got me convinced to start beefin up the transmission what do u all recommend starting with torque converter,valve body... . right now the transmission slips a little bit when u smash it and at high rpm it does this little jumpy think will any of these help thanks a ton seth

I would do at minimum a valve body and torque converter together if you have the money. I'm not an auto guy( I like to row the gears) but thats where I would start.

If you're slipping already

you need a complete rebuild SOON..... MUCH sooner with the COMP on anything above 1v1..... starting down the Dark Side ----- Oo.
