Can I stack another fueling box on top of the banks ottomind I have now? 2001 auto. I am looking at maybe a smarty on top of what I have.

If the ottomind does timing, select the smarty settings without timing (even I believe). BTW, you will not have a stock transmission and converter much longer!

I asked a Bank's sales rep if the Ottomind had timing, he hemmed and hawed and finally got around to saying the Ottomind was similar in construction, function as a TST box. The TST has no timing.

I stacked an Ottomind with an Edge EZ and blew my headgasket apart.

It sure was fun while it lasted, though.

There are 2 different Ottominds, one taps the VP44 only and the other plugs into the canbus. Obvioulsy the one that taps the canbus does timing.

So yes you can stack the SMARTY with both. if you have the ottomind that taps the pump wire (VP44) use timing. If you have the other model don't use timing in the SMARTY.

I have an ottomind (big hoss #5) and have been using this stack for 3 years and it is killer.

stacking boxes ??

Mine is tapped and I run mine on the even numbers with no problems. I have noticed since I put in the larger sticks I get a shutter right after I use heavy thottle then back out of it quickly. Was told that is a direct cause from larger sticks. Fun to drive. I went to Branson empty and smarty on 2 with 17mpg (manually)going through the mountains on flat grond speeds upto 75 and 80. I was pleased.

You should try odd numbers and gain the improved mileage and power timing has to offer. The wire tapping Banks box only adds fuel through the pump wire, no timing.

Even better, install the free REVO softwares and tweak it even more FREE!

I have been using levels 1-3-9 depending on what I'm doing.

With the new REVO software I have been using "WILD" timing which I think is more than the origonal SW's.

If you have the Big Hoss that TAPS THE PUMP WIRE it DOES NOT add timing. It looks like this below which is an ottomind but is the same thing.
