Is it possible to stack the Edge Comp (drag version) w/ the new Superchips Microtuner? I know you can piggy back w/ other boxes, but this microtuner is different?

I would guess you could but the results would not be good. I am fairly sure the micro tuner just adjusts the timing (same as an EZ and comp). The end result would be too much timing and less power.



I don't belive its a good idea to stack anything with the Comp as the comp does both timing and fueling.

I have the d-comp and the superchips stacked at the moment. There is lots more smoke even with the box turned off. This I dont much care for but SOTP says I gained about 40HP across the board. I de-tuned the other day to drive around (seeing if it was just me that felt the differance) I made it about ten miles before I turned around to go back and re-tune.



The downside is..... when the motor is cold, I have to run with the box off till the operating temps are normal. If I dont and you step on the throttle it is really rattley(too much timing) But once the operating temps are normal it does fine.



I have been running stacked for about 9K miles if that helps any.

This is good info. I have been kicking around this idea for a while now. I had no clue the SuperChips added timing though. This might work good for me though since I hardly ever run the comp (unless I am at a pull).

You are thinking you gained 40hp on all settings? Is that what you meant by "across the board"?

Does the SuperChip allow you to see AND clear codes out of the ECM? And it also allows you to reprogram for tire size?

I don't know if that combos amount of timing is to much or not , but my TST-PM3 stacked with my VA is agreat setup. I have the VA in cab adjustable from 0-35-65 and it works very well. Also the tst is a competition version.

No timing. Just fuel. Confirmed that with Randy at Super Chips. I had one and sent it back. Caused my check engine and ainti lock brake lights to come on. The power on the high setting was no where near the Edge EZ I now have. The speedo adjustment and code features were nice.
