does anyone know if you can stack fueling boxes on the cummins like the guys are doing with the duramax?i have a comp drag box & was wondering if there was another box i could add to this like the vanaken or the ez. just thinking out loud again. :)

Certain boxes can be stacked, I am just not sure about which one's. I know you can stack a VA and EZ. One is fuel the other is timing. I am not sure if you can stack a VA and a Comp or not. I don't think you can since they both control fuel. But I might me totally wrong.

While we are on the subject. Can anyone point be in the direction of a VA box? I have done a search but haven't came up with much.

You cannot add another box to the Comp. You cannot run an EZ and a VA together either. Well, you can't add them smartly.

The Comp does timing and fueling. You can only add so much timing before it is counterproductive, the Comp gives you PLENTY. Excessive timing will set a code best case and engine damage worst case. You can only add so much fueling before the duty cycle of the solenoid is exceeded, the comp gives you all that it will take and the drag comp even more. The injection solenoid will only take a certain amount of duty before it burns up.

The common rail engines are different animals and have a couple more avenues of adding power than we do.

If you need more power get some bigger injectors.

Actually you can and without any problems at all. It just doesn't really benefit you at all.

Heck you want to try something really insane run a Blue Chip box and a COMP and see what happens. It works well... ... until your pump dies. :(

My points exactly. Thanks for the info, it is nice to have someone brave enough to try it and break stuff.

Actually the EZ instructions tell you that it can be stacked in conjuction with other boxes. Edge says it is worth an additional 20-30 HP. I am not saying it is a smart move, they just say it is possible. I personally am opting for the injectors next.

There are lots of folks running the EZ timing boxes stacked with the TST fueling boxes..... from what I have seen it gives you the best of both worlds... ...
