Ok what can be stacked with what? Im sure this is a common question i have read and just don't understand what boxes do what yet and how to stack them. Also who has the best for performance valve body and torque converters for these trucks?

You can probably find out quite a bit of information by using the "Search" feature. Do you have something in particular you are wondering about?

Physically speaking, it is possible to stack about anything with about anything else. The exception here would be that it is possible to only run one downloader at a time. For example, you couldn't use Smarty and a Bully Dog downloader at the same time.

I think most people would agree that stacking two boxes of the same "kind" is a bad idea. "Kinds" here would refer to either a pressure box, or a timing/duration box.

There are far to many options out there to list them all, but for example, pressure boxes could include SP Diesel, Edge EZ, Van Aaken, TS MP-8, etc. On the other hand, TST is historically a timing/duration box.

Now things get a little more complicated. The new TST's also include a rail pressure feature; thus, from a traditional standpoint, you wouldn't want to stack a "pressure" box on top of this. Furthermore, a beta version of Smarty and Van Aaken exist that are pressure/timing/duration modifiers.

The general rule of thumb is that you can't take a single parameter too far out of bounds (timing, pressure, etc). Modifying a little is good, modifying too much is bad. How far is too far? I guess that's the risk you're willing take.

Now, the exception to the rule (commonly speaking anyway), is that many people are using the TST (timing/duration) with the Smarty (timing/duration). In this situation, it is probably adviseable to use only the timing from the TST, or the timing from Smarty, but not both. However, combining the different methods that each use for fueling does have some benefits.

Maybe this isn't at all what you're asking... if you have specific brands in mind, try posting about the particular stack you're considering. --Eric
