Bully Dog Question

Thinking in the future of stacking something with my edge hot juice. Looking for some info on downloaders that will stack with the hot juice. I am aware of the Edge EZ stacking, so thats one option. I dont think the Hot juice adds pressure but I am not sure maybe somebody does know. Any info, experience, dyno results, recommedations greatly appreciated.

Possiblities

1. Edge EZ

2. Bully Dog Crazy Larry?

3. PPE Xcelerator

4. ???

5????

6. etc.

Thanks in Advance

I have a FASS and II SPS66 turbo on top of what I see in your truck profile.

I had the HOT Juice/Attitude and EZ stacked. This was a very good stack for me. The best overall for daily driving. Smooth consistent power with no codes or drivablitly issues. Dyno'd 480rwhp and ran consistent 13. 8s 1/4s. EGT were under 1400* max.

I also tried the Bully Dog Triple Dog with Crazy Larry. I did not run this stack very long and did not get dyno or track numbers. I would not recommend this stack, too much timing, too much smoke and EGTs got very high quick for me no matter how I varied settings.

The TS MP-8 is probably as good or better than an EZ because of the greater adjustment options.

I think you would really need at minimum LP and turbo upgrade to get full power potential if you stack something with the HOT Juice/Attitude. Just my experience and . 02.

what is LP?? i am thinking of getting the httb2 is that a good turbo? i don't want anything to big but i want the power if you know what i mean.

Yea I know other things are need completed before I even worry about stacking with my hot juice. Plans are SBC DD, FASS 150, ARP Head Studs, Piers or Relentless Twins, stacking another box, and finally cp3 mod and injectors. Just addressing on deal at a time to slowly decide where I want to go with which products. Hopefully this summer everything but cp3 and injectors are completed. I appreciate all your help and words of wisdom or experience. Thanks again TDR

So, JVolpe, didi you get to dyno the hot juice/ ez stack and the tst/ez stack?

All of these numbers were with the II SPS66 and FASS.

Hot Juice/Attitude (Level 5) & EZ(Level 2) dyno'd 480rwhp ran 13. 8s 1/4.

TST 7/7 and EZ Level 3 dyno'd 503rwhp and ran 13. 5s 1/4.

TST 7/6, EZ Level 3 and BD Triple Dog Performance Program dyno'd 522/930 and ran 13. 2s 1/4.

Pretty sure the pressure relief valve popped the first time I did the triple stack at the track. A number of P0088s that night and havd not had them since. Need to get it checked and fixed and I suspect the TST numbers would be a lot better. Just don't have the money or time right now. Need CP3 upgrade to go with that relief valve. All on my wish list for now.

Well, I was seriously thinking about sending the TST back. But It seems like everyone making big power is running it. The hot juice I thought might be better for daily driving, but I can't talk myself into giving up ANY hp for a smoother drive. Just like on my 2001, I will deal with the stuff on the street if I can go a little faster on the track. Which makes no sense, cause this is the truck we do all our traveling in. Oh well, once the bug bites, its over. :D

So true. Like I have posted many times the HOT Juice/Attitude and EZ was the best overall stack for consistent, smooth power and drivability. EGTs WOT never went over 1400*. But I knew that was I was at the MAX potential and wanted more at the track. It does seem that at the heart of most high hp and fast ET 3rd gen trucks is a TST box with a varied combination of other things.
