Stacks or not

This is my first diesel, 06 2500 4x4 standard cab. I like the look of duel stacks and am considering installing, problem is I don't know what I should do as far as the cat and muffler, should they be removed? I know that Grand Rock and MBRP sell kits, does anyone else? I thought that I once saw somewhere that some company sold stacks with a removable baffle that slipped into the stack itself, I have not be able to find the company, was I just dreaming??? Any help, pro/cons, would be appreciated, thanks.

Grand Rock is realeasing a new in stack muffler here very soon. Also, their quiet performance mufflers aren't bad. I love my grand rock kit and have had several customers satisfied with their kits.



Only downside is the occasion soot that gets dropped on the paint. Well worth it for the looks.

LOL... ... ..... to each is own. i prefer side pipes to smoke out bicyclers who cross the white line,or ricers. stacks would be kool if you don't have plans on pulling a nice trailer.

My Grand Rock 5 in. straight pipe kit , well,... . Rocks !

I would put it up against any maker. Quality is superior !

Big reasons why I like the Grand Rock kits -



The finish on teh stacks is awesome. Yes, they may be more money than other brands, but they won't be rusted come spring.



All inclusive kits. They come with everything you need except the holesaw.



The fit on the kits is great. Minimal damage done to the ends making you hammer them back out round and try and force them together.



Easy. Installs in about 2 hours, including cutting the hole in the bed.



CDL or not, Stacks are sexy!

Thanks for all the replies. Does this Grand Rock stack kit attach to the cat or to the turbo, is a down pipe required if the cat is eliminated??? Do exhaust modification void the manufactures warranty?? Thanks again!!
