Anybody done this?

I´ve got a Leer 100XL and need to have it on for the most of the time. . but I want stacks, and I wonder if the heat from the stacks would damage the cap?

Is there a way to protect the cap from the heat and any sugestions how to seal it from water in the bed?

I´ve seen a stack throug cap in a pullingvideo once.

Just a crazy idea... .

if you cut the holes for the stack about 1-1. 5 bigger than the stack, you should not damage it ( I had a soft tonneau on mine with stacks and it didn't hurt it) You can get a seal from a camping place meant for a tent with a stove and attatch it to the shell to seal up the stacks. I was going to do that with my tonneau cover but decided I didn't need the bed to be waterproof

Seen it and it does make a mess with soot and all. That back window will be useless and so will the acess to the bed as the soot gets into everywhere. ALSO make sure to leave plenty of room for flex (Read chassis flex AND engine flex)
