Thinking about having stacks put on my truck, but needing some answers first. Wondering how loud they are when your cruising down the interstate? Do they sound good with the 24valve engine? Also do take the muffler and resonator off and whats the effect with one or the other off or on? Thanks...

Since your questions are of a subjective nature - probably only to be answered by yourself after an audition, maybe you could tell us what town you live in and maybe someone lives close enough to give you a demo. I will if you want to come to Ft. Worth

I just put stacks on my truck a week and a half ago, I have the 24-valve, and was srtaight piped before the stacks. Then I drove 1000 miles to Tulsa, for drag racin' and dyno... ... ..... well,I'm not gonna' lie to ya, it's LOUD! The stacks were unmuffled for 2000 miles, there and back, it's a little much especialy at 72-75 mph there's a pretty good drone. So when I got back, I put the resonator on,now it's perfect. At idle it's throaty but not irritating,cruising it's nice,but when I romp on it, whoa,it still gets peoples attention Hope that helps ya'
