Who sells Megacannons?

Long trip, product reciew

In the readers rigs part there is a photo album labeled BLACK AND SMOKE this person is running very nice looking 5" stacks all plumbed underneath the bed can this person or someone show me some pics and/or explain how this is done please. Thanks

I just got done running a single 5" stack on the passenger side of my 98. 5 2500. I used all 4" from the turbo back to the 5" stack. If you would like I was gonna take pictures of it this weekend and I can send you some showing how I did it. The setup ran me around $300 but I lucked up and ran across some deals. Let me know and I can email the pics to ya later this weekend. I was gonna run dual stacks all under the bed but i decided to run one and see how I liked it. I have a good idea of how I would personally run another one and I might could give ya some ideas on it but it might be easier if I could show ya with some pictures.

I'm getting ready to do some stacks so all the pictures and comments that anyone could post would be of great use. thanks

I will be putting my stacks on tomorrow night, so I will take a bunch of pics and post them as soon as I get home. I will also post a parts list that I used. Based it off of Oasis-3's part list. I can't wait to put those things, not sure if I am gonna be able to sleep tonite. :D

Well I might be getting them with my tax return, or a Pac Brake depends on amount of return :-laf I can do stacks cheaper, but could wait on them till my b-day (I think :{ )

STACKS ARE ON!!!!!

Well I got the stacks on. Very easy to do and they look and sound sweet. :--) I will post some good pics of it blowin coal tomorrow when I get some in the day light. I will also post my parts list tomorrow too.

I'm not sure if I am gonna be around this weekend. But if I am I will definitely show up. I wanna see someone look at the stacks and appreciate them, instead of all the what the f*** looks I got driving back home from the shop.

Stacks are awesome man I really like the way they look and sound. I just put mine on last weekend and am loving every minute of them. I used two five inch mitercut stacks on mine for my setup. They really make the trucks look cool.

I ordered my stack on monday they should have them in on friday and they will be on the truck on Saturday. I Used the parts list from Oasis3 so everything should turn out looking good. i do have one question, On the T pipe do you all weld that to anything because it looked like it is some of Oasis pictures. Other then than that i think it should be a pretty simple install. How lond did it take you all to do that full instalations. i was kind of planning on about 3 hours.

I did mine a little bit differently than what you all are doing on your stack kits. Thought that this way it would last a lot longer with a lot less leaks in the long run. Anyhow since we fabricated the stuff ourselves it took us a little longer than three hours. Sorry I couldn't be of help.

i put 5 inch miter cut stacks on my truck they stick up above the roof about 4 inches. with a 4 inch pipe from my b1 to a 90 at the box & then a y pipe inside the box to the stacks. there are no mufflers or converter just straight pipe & it sound sweeeeet. you can really hear the turbo wine & the smoke trails up into the air is just  . all my buddys call me a redneck. . i got all my parts from berubes. have fun kurt.

I finally got a few pics of my single stack but they dont do much to show how i plumbed under the bed. I ran straight 4" from the turbo back to a foot or so past the crossmember/skidplate. I then used 4" stainless steel flex pipe to make the curve around my frame to a 90* 4" to 5" reducer. My 5" stack slides in the reducer through a 5" hole I cut in the bed with a plasma cutter. Im still torn between doing the same thing on the other side or not. Everyone I seem to talk with says adding another one will quieten the truck down. (Which I dont want to do):D Any thoughts? If I stack the other side it will be somewhat similar to the way I stacked the passenger side. Single Stack pics If you look in the first picture you can see the 90* 4"-5" reducer behind the step bar. It appears to be low but it is actually the same height as the center of the frame under the cab.

I did mine pretty quick. I had some prefabed plates with shortened 90 degree elbows welded to them to bolt to the bed. I angled 1 over the tank and put a heat sheild over pipe to protect tank. Piping is only secured at turbo and bed plates. Rob Thomas a member sells pre fabbed plates. Do a search. No Brackets needed to secure pipes to bed rails.
